NYFW Day 1 Recap (Part 2)..

Desigual
FW ’14 RTW

Smiley, Flirty and spreading the love around, that was the desigual show, it was so much fun just to get a break from the normal model look to see fresh smiley faced models prancing down the runway blowing kisses and winking at the audience.
I loved the prints, the colors and the pieces, Desigual GIVE ME ALL OF ‘EM!

NYFW Day 1 Recap (Part 1)..

It’s that time of the year again, the time where we force yourself to walk all day in the prettiest highest most uncomfortable shoes, the time where you try and create amazing, unique, and noticeable outfits and the time where your Instagram feed is filled with pictures of outfits of the day, models, makeup looks.

Yes, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week has arrived!
Hence I am currently in the city I thought why not try and score some invites, so I tried possibly the easiest way ever yet still the toughest way! And guess what I got a couple of decent invites!!
Anyway today I’ll share my favorite looks of some of my favorite shows of day 1 of fashion week.

Creatures of the wind
FW ’14 RTW

Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters have killed it this season, their collection is all about patterns and texture the collection has an eccentric vibe to it, and below are my favorite looks of the collection.

Tadashi Shoji
Brights, embroidery, and great fabric cuts. That’s what Tadashi Shoji was all about, the collection speaks for it’s self truly, I mean look at that floor length red cape!

Keep an eye out for the next post.

Pull&Bear FW13 Collection

Hey guys,

Yesterday Pull and Bear held an event to showcase the new FW13 collection,
Pull & Bear is a Spanish clothing brand; it focuses on casual, laid-back clothing and accessories for young people with a very urban style.

Upon arriving we were greeted by the lovely Pull & Bear team and the store manager Sophia, Sophia took us through the new collection and talked about how the store is growing and how it’s pieces evolved for another demographic, a more young adult ready wear sort of fashion.

Fact: Did you know that the brand also makes pieces that are especially made for the Middle Eastern market?! They have the maxi dresses and the maxi skirts that are exclusive to the Middle Eastern region.

I loved everything about the collection, the colors, the style and the materials. I was going through each piece and thinking up ways to wear it, the collection is truly inspiring, me and Mara from Electric Firefly were just jumping from rack to rack admiring the pieces and how they are amazing for hijabis.

Look at the colors of those sweaters.FAB

Perfect Jean shirt, long and comfy.

NEED THOSE NOW!

With my fellow Bloggers and the store Manager Sophia

Outfit pose with Mara, don't you just adore her style!

We got goddie bags filled with amazing things.

Like this awesome huge canvas bag

And this studded belt, which is totally my favorite now!

And now onto my favorite items from the collection, trust me it was so hard to pin it down to just a couple.

Head to Pull and Bear in Seef or City Center and checkout the collection, i dare you not to fall in love with everything.
