Hello my gorgeous readers,,

Oh Em Gee, wait what!! It’s December, where has the year gone?? How can 2013 just fly like that!!

I cannot even fathom this, it’s mind blowing like the year is running away from us, so I hope you spent it well and got to accomplish some of your 2013 goals. 

Anyway since all my favorites post’s are photo heavy and long I shall get right into it.

First let us bring on the beauty favorites

Bobbi Brown Gel eyeliner

This right here is a re-discovery, I’ve had this product yet I just stopped using it for a long time and on a random November day I thought why not use it, and OMG I fell in love with it. AGAIN. The texture is so creamy and it dries superfast unlike other liners, and that’s really important to me because I have hooded eye lids.

Color Club nail polish in Baldwin Blues

I have never heard of this brand before, I got it in my November birchbox, it’s actually a lacquer and it’s so beautiful, I don’t remember the last time I only applied one coat of a nail polish on my nails but for this one one coat was all that is needed, it give nails such a glamorous glint.

Rebel by M.A.C

Need I say more? I am guessing this is a staple in every lipstick junkie’s collection; this is just such an appropriate color for these colder months.

Viva Glam I by M.A.C

You guys know I love love love red lipsticks so of course this shade would be one of my favorites, I feel so glam wearing it, for me I am always scared of M.A.C’s matte lipsticks because they tend to dry the lips but I am taking really good care of my lips always moisturizing them.

Honey Girl Organics moisturizer

I love this, I just recently started using it in mid November and let me tell you this; it keeps my face so moisturized and as I have noticed it controls oil as well, but I can’t be the judge of that because I do not have an oily face, one you scoop it up you might feel that it’s heavy, because it’s more of like a butter but once you massage it on your face it takes seconds and dries up leaving you with almost nothing on your face.

Candle of the month

Henri Bendel scented candle in “Violet”

This candle has always been on my bedside table ever since I got it, even without it burning the scent fills the room, I love it it’s so warm and it smells so nice.

TV show of the month

Ok so I’m going to leave reign out of this because if I mention it every time I do a favorites post you guys will get bored so let’s just say it gets an honorary place <3..

The Vampire Diaries - CW

Hello My Shadow Self, who else has this stuck in their head!!??

Oh my god you guys, Vampire Diaries is blowing the roof off of this place! I have been a loyal VD fan-Helloo #TeamDamon-and I’ve been watching it ever since it premiered, sure somewhere in the past seasons it went very limb and well downhill but this season OH MY GOD; I think this is their best season yet, the events of every episode keeps me hanging over a cliff! any #TeamDamon's in the house??

Once Upon A Time In Wonderland - ABC

This is a Once upon a time spin off which focuses on Alice and her adventures through wonderland, to be honest I put this on my watch list just so I can see the comparison because I adore OUAT, I watched the first episode but I wasn’t convinced with the show, then just so I can say I gave it a chance I watched the second episode and oh boy was it good “Hooked”, I love it, love love the story and how it’s so much different from OUAT yet so similar, if you haven’t checked it out and you like dark sort of fairytales go watch, what are you waiting for!!

Tune of the month

Drive – Miley Cyrus

Don’t judge but I am lovin’ Miley’s Album, I like it, its fun!!!

I have been listening to it a lot for the past month but if I had to choose I guess I’d go for Drive, it’s a very slow, mellow upbeat song if that makes sense, and the beat of it is so fun!

Yellow – Coldplay

I have rekindled my love for this song again, I can’t describe it, it makes me happy, I love to listen to it while driving around on a chilly night, chillaxing with the windows rolled down.

App of the month

Flipagram

I have been traveling for the past month and taking a lot of pictures that I want to share on Instagram but I can’t spam your timeline with all my pictures. Solution? Flipagram, you can choose the pictures you want to post and arrange them the order you want them to appear, add a song to it and it creates a beautiful slideshow sort of video. I LOVE IT!

Nescafe Spiced Chai latte

This is the yummiest, fastest thing in the world, I have a Dolce Gusto machine and it’s so perfect, you just put the tablets in and POOF you have your hot drink in your mug, it’s a chai latte infused with Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves and Ginger.

Fashion item of the month

Wedge white sneakers

The moment I put these on I couldn't resist buying them and not taking them of, I walked out of the store wearing these and a smile, I was so hesitant as to buy a pair of white sneakers, I don’t by white pieces I just admire them from a distance, but these babies captured me, with the golden straps and the white leather <3, and as these things happen to me a lot, I discovered that these are actually similar to Giuseppe Zanotti’s 400 Bahraini Dinars Lorenz sneakers, I just walked into a shop in Kuwait and got them "NBD. So I’m even happier than before, they are so comfortable to wear and so easy to style with anything really, I’ve work them with skirts, leggings and jeans.

Youtuber of the month : MakeUp by Alli

Watch Alli !!! she is so fun to watch and I love just sitting down and watching all her videos back to back, she is funny and gorgeous <3

Book of the month

I have been reading and listening to books like crazy this past month, so I am going to choose two. Sorry.

Catching Fire by  Suzanne Collins

I have kept delaying this book so I can read it right before the movie comes out so I can remember it and I did finish it 3 days before the movie came out-which we will discuss later on- but I loved this book so different and so emotional than the forst one it’s a really good read. I listened to it on Audible and was moved by it, when I finished it a was in a shock for a whole half hour.

Divergent by Veronica Roth

After finishing catching fire I was still in a dystopian mood, so I downloaded Divergent and listened, and LOVED it, it’s hard for me to describe it but it’s really really good plus the movie is coming out in march so read it.

Movie of the month

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Perfection wrapped up I n a movie, this surpassed the first movie, and this book is just better that the first, I loved everything about the movie, the acting, the effects and how all the characters were portrayed I LOVED IT!!

Heloo my lovelies

Well we are well into November- can you believe it just one more month till the new year and then January <3 anyway back to the subject at hand, with the supposed transition from summer to fall or winter or whatever is this weather we are dealing with in our beautiful island I've tried some new products that I absolutely fell in love with and others that I still can’t fall out of love with.

So without rambling on let’s just get into this post.

First let’s talk about the beauty favorites,

NYX liquid eyeliner

Oh my god can this be any perfect!! It has the full package, it’s precise, pigmented and doesn't budge throughout the day.

Zoya nail polish in Giovanna

This emerald green is a gorgeous shade, I feel like a mermaid when I wear this, the way it glistens reminds me of Ariel’s tails. So yeah I’m a mermaid don’t judge me.

Candy Yum-Yum

This is the most gorgeous shade of electric pink I have ever seen, I love how it complements my skin and makes me feel so glam while wearing it.

Ruby woo

I have been obsessed with red lipsticks more than ever this past month, whenever I want a pick me up I just put on this shade and boom instant glam.

Rocket lash mascara by Maybelline

This has been my favorite to go mascara since back in January when I found it in turkey and we just got it here in Bahrain so I am soo thrilled about that!

Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer

Oh my god guys, I have fallen back in love with my tinted moisturizers, but I especially LOVE this one from Laura Mercier, the coverage of this is phenomenal, it covers just right for an everyday use and its light, like you feel your skin still peeking through.

And now for the non beauty favorites

Sea to Santorini

I love bath and body works for so many reasons, one they have a scent that satisfies every taste, the candles have amazing designs and colors, and the names of the scents they have. This one was no exception, from the design of the lid to the name, and to the scent oh my god it smells like I’m walking down the beach and the smell of the breeze infused with flower scents.

Favorite Tv series of the past month, well as usual I cannot pin it to just one, so I have two shows which are new this fall.

Reign - CW

Oh my god, this show!! This is one of CW’s new fall tv shows, it is amazing on so many levels, I love history and throw a bunch of teens and love story line and I’m hooked. The story follows Mary Queen of Scots and he journey to the throne, the only way I’d describe this show it’s like The white queen meets gossip girl and both those shows are a fav of mine so yeah, hooked!!

Witches of East end - Lifetime

I do not even know how to begin telling you guys how much this show is AHMAZING!!!! If you’re into the witchy, mystery, love triangle sort of shows then you will LOVE this!! Me and my best friend describe it as it’s like Charmed but not like Charmed in so many ways, like you’ve got the four witches, the mother hid that fact from her two daughters and now they are starting to learn how powerful are they, I think I got hooked just 5 minutes into the show, it’s amazing, amazing, amazing!!

Favorite Tune on the month

It takes two - Katy Perry

Katy is a genius, she knows what she wants and what her audience wants and she delivers, everyone was so hesitant while waiting for her new album, we feared it might be going down a dark path-thanks to all the promos- the day it came out I downloaded and listened to all the songs and oh wow!! I love this new approach, its more mature, has so much feeling and its mind blowing.

Royals – Lorde

I’m sure this song is on everyone’s favorites of the month, If you don’t know who Lorde is you must be living under a rock, I found out about Lorde back in September while browsing through Katy Perry’s radio station in Music on my iphone, and her song BRAVADO came on, I loved it, it was like Lana del ray meets the new Katy –side note: did you know Katy Perry offered Lorde to go on tour with her but she turned down the offer- anyway so I went and googled her and there were a list of songs, I downloaded and listened and fell in love with the beat and melody of the song, another favorite of mine from her is MILLION DOLLAR BILLS.

Vanilla Tea Latte

Am I the only one that walks into a Starbucks and orders tea?? Raise your hands if you are a tea kind of person, the best thing about my new job is the timing, I have enough time to pass by the nearby Starbucks and get my daily fix of tea, their vanilla tea latte is amazing on so many levels.

Favorite Fashion item

JustFab Madrid Shoes

My favorite type of heels are wedges, they are comfy, gives you good balance yet stylish, so when I saw that I had credits in my JustFab account I thought why not get those shoes, although I wasn't 100% into them, but I did get them, a week later they arrived and I swear I haven’t worn any other heel since, they are the most amazing transitional wedge sandals, you can wear them casual, posh or even for work, they are oh so comfortable and easy to walk in, now I’m not a heels type of girl but this one has got me hooked!

Favorite subscription box of the month

PopSugar Must have box

Last month popsugar’s must have box exceeded my expectations, after not really loving the September box, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about October’s but man did I love it – I promise my next post o going to be about PopSugar must have box to introduce it to the beauties that still haven’t heard about it.

These are a few of my favorite things: April

Hey lovely readers so today I'm going to be talking about my April favorites *I know i know its late* I am trying this thing for the very first time I've seen everyone do it everywhere specially vloggers on YouTube, for those of you that are not familiar with favorites it's just a post or video that a blogger films or writes to just share with their readers what are their favorites for the past month, and that is exactly what I'm going to do; my post is going to be about my favorite beauty products, my favorite accessories and Random favorites of April. So let's start

First let's tackle the beauty products

1- The first thing that deserves an honorable mention is my day cream I'm using the Estée Lauder daywear moisturizer, this product is amazing you don't feel it on your face but you know it's there and with this heat in the Gulf area this thing is amazing I've noticed positive changes in my skin.

2- The other thing I cannot live without is the No7 lift and luminate night cream this thing does wonders for your face I feel a lot of changes happening.

3-  Better exfoliate a lot in the summer because you get rid of all the dead cells and feel the smoothness of your skin so I use the salt scrub which is by a company called kedem I got it from UK and it is just the most amazing thing ever it smells so fresh and when I'm done I use the body butter which smells like mango and I love me some mango!!

4- This next thing isn't just one product but they are three different products but under one category mascaras, I have an obsession with mascaras I'm always on the hunt to find the ones that'll make my Lashes more voluminous and give them more length, in April 

I've been loving these three mascaras

A- benefit's they're real.

 B- Maybelline’s one by one volume express.

                                              

C- Lancôme's hypnosis doll eyes.

5- on my face I normally just use corrector and concealer and my favorite correct of this month has been Bobby Brown and my favorite concealer has been Maybelline super stay 24 hr.

6- my go to eyeliner has definitely been the master precise liquid eyeliner from Maybelline I've heard about it and when I tried it wow I fell in love.

7- I am loving Sephora’s bronzer it is huge and amazing and applies so smoothly, and another product I've been loving is Mac's Fleur Power.

8- on my lips I've been changing it up and playing with a lot of different colors mostly pinks and corals I've been loving Rimmel's lipsticks I just found them and I'm loving that they apply so nicely And they smell amazing, plus two Mac lipsticks (yes they are ALL always in my hand bag).

9- the last beauty product I'm going to talk about is nail polish I love me some nail polish I adore me some nail polish and I love to shake up my nail polish Colors I like to use any color I can get my hand on, so some of my go to colors during the month of April was mint green, coral pink, peach, neon pink and neon yellow.

Now that we're done from the beauty products we go to the other random favorites.

1- I've been loving this bag from H&M I pair it with almost everything and I'm not the type of girl that would wear the same bag for more than a week but this bag is just gorgeous.

2- this statement necklace from Forever 21 is beautiful with any outfit it just adds a certain vibe to the outfit. 

3- these rings have been my go to rings, the spiked one is from Diva, and the heart shaped one is from Forever 21.

4- sparkles are my favorite thing so of course I would love these shades from H&M.

5- My favorite candle of the month of April is Caribbean escape from bath and body works...

6- and my favorite TV show for April is NBC's Smash I've been watching from the day it aired but this month I've just been loving it more

7- favorite song of the month is Florence and the machine's Shake it out I love the Smash and glee version of it I'm listening to it non-stop.
